Check the lifting point before the capacity badge
Arcan lists a 3 US ton / 6000 lb capacity for the A20019. The vehicle’s approved lifting point, load distribution and the jack instructions still determine suitability. A capacity label alone cannot establish that the saddle reaches safely or the chassis clears nearby structure. Match the exact vehicle procedure rather than selecting a floor jack only by vehicle curb weight.
Entry height, reach and usable lift
The documented lift range is 3.75–18 inches. Entry height matters at a low lifting point, while reach determines whether the jack can place its saddle correctly once underneath. Maximum height matters when installing an appropriate stand, but it is not the height available at every part of the vehicle. Check the complete lifting geometry instead of assuming an 18-inch specification guarantees adequate working clearance.
Dual-pump convenience and moving the equipment
Arcan describes dual-pump aluminium construction and a manufacturer weight of 56 lb. Those details affect approach and handling, not the safe working surface requirement. Use the jack on the hard, level load-bearing surface required by its instructions and allow for the movement inherent in the lifting geometry. Plan storage and transport around the actual mass; aluminium does not make a floor jack a lightweight hand tool.
Compare SUNEX, then select support equipment
SUNEX 6602LP offers a lower 2.75-inch entry and higher 24-inch maximum, with a different 2-ton rating and steel construction. That is a meaningful geometry comparison rather than a simple better/worse ranking. ESCO 10498-PAIR provides support, not lifting, and its minimum height and saddle fit need their own checks. Never work beneath a vehicle supported only by this hydraulic jack; follow the vehicle and equipment instructions for a complete arrangement.
