Low entry is useful only with sufficient reach

The documented 2.75-inch minimum can matter for a low lifting point, but the jack also needs to reach the approved location without contacting nearby bodywork. Check the vehicle procedure and complete chassis geometry rather than selecting from minimum height alone. A low front lip does not guarantee that the entire jack can move beneath the vehicle.

Capacity and lift range are separate specifications

SUNEX lists two tons and a 2.75–24-inch lifting range. The greater maximum height compared with Arcan A20019 may help a suitable support arrangement, but the different capacity cannot be ignored. Consider the load at the approved lifting point and all manufacturer requirements. Do not rank jacks simply by whichever maximum number appears more impressive.

Steel construction and dual-pump operation

The steel body and dual-pump system affect the practical ownership and lifting workflow. Plan movement and storage around the actual equipment and follow the manual’s maintenance and inspection guidance. Use the required hard, level load-bearing surface. A dual-pump mechanism does not make an unsuitable floor or damaged lifting point acceptable.

Build the support arrangement before buying

ESCO 10498-PAIR has a 13.2-inch minimum support height and a specific flat saddle, both of which need checking independently. Chocks address restraint rather than support. Never work beneath a vehicle supported only by the floor jack. The lifting-and-support guide links the roles, but the vehicle and equipment manuals determine the actual safe setup.
