Quick picks

Choose by the task. Read the detailed buying assessment and available full reviews before checking the retailer offer.

A HEPA filter, airflow claim or tank volume does not establish whole-system compliance for every material. Follow the applicable job method and equipment instructions; no exposure or capture testing is claimed here.

HOW TO CHOOSE

What matters for the work

Connection before container size

Check the actual saw or sander port, adapter, hose and electrical limits. Automatic tool startup requires a supported connection or control system. Wireless control and battery-powered extraction are different functions, and optional adapters can change the complete cost.

Read the cleaning and filter arrangement

Timed automatic filter pulses differ from manual cleaning. Confirm the current supplied filters, bags and wet-use requirements rather than inferring them from an old photograph. Consumable availability and replacement costs belong in the working budget.

Dust type changes the plan

Fine sanding dust, bulk planer chips and hazardous renovation materials can call for different systems. A published airflow figure does not settle capture at the tool. Use the employer or site-specified method and verify the complete arrangement for the actual material.
