Where this clamp earns its place

KRE3524 is the 24-inch K Body REVO parallel-jaw clamp. Its broad jaw faces serve a different assembly role from a quick trigger clamp or a face clamp at one joint. It can earn its place when cabinet cases and glue-ups repeatedly need that opening and contact arrangement. Measure the assembly including protective blocks before deciding that a nominal 24-inch clamp reaches.

Size and contact arrangement

Bessey lists a 3-3/4-inch throat and nominal 1,700-pound force. That headline is not the pressure every joint should receive, nor a guarantee of square assembly. Jaw condition, support, glue instructions and checking the reference dimensions remain part of the work. We have not measured deflection or holding force. Choose the size and jaw format for the recurring assembly rather than simply buying the largest rating.

Choose a useful starter set

Budget for the number of clamps the actual glue-up needs, protective pads and space to store them. A starter kit can use lighter positioning clamps for fitting and add parallel-jaw equipment when cabinet assembly becomes regular. Pony pipe fixtures cover another length strategy, while Kreg's face clamp holds a localized joint flush. Neither is interchangeable with every role of this clamp.
