Choose the collection workflow
VAC090AH is the nine-gallon Bosch extractor with an included HEPA filter, fleece bag and automatic cleaning. The H suffix matters when comparing related VAC090 versions. It can serve a compatible tool station where frequent filter cleaning is useful, but the complete dust-control arrangement must still suit the material and job. A filter specification alone is not a whole-system compliance assessment.
Connection and cleaning differences
Bosch documents automatic cleaning every 15 seconds, tool activation and a Power Broker control. Those features distinguish it from the manually cleaned CT MIDI arrangement. We have not measured suction under load or cleaning noise. The source rating is based on only 14 reviews and is polarized, including reported operating faults, so examine service and current configuration rather than treating the specification sheet as a reliability endorsement.
Price the complete dust system
Include hose adapters, bags and filters in the comparison with DWV010, VC4210L and the Festool choices. Assess tool-outlet limits and the actual power setup before treating automatic startup as a universal connection. A larger nominal tank may reduce some emptying work but adds carrying considerations. Apprentices should follow the site dust system and responsibility for equipment instead of buying an extractor ahead of a defined need.
