Match the cutting workflow

DWE7491RS combines a 10-inch jobsite table saw with a rolling stand. Its 32-1/2-inch rip capacity is a fence-to-blade dimension, not evidence that one person can safely manage any full sheet. It earns its place when repeated supported ripping is part of the daily cut list. For one-off cabinet panels in a tight room, compare a supported track-saw setup first.

Understand the model and package

The stand is part of this package, unlike the standalone DWE7485. DeWalt documents rack-and-pinion fence adjustment and 3-1/8-inch depth at 90 degrees. Check the particular blade, guard, riving knife and operation in the manual instead of interpreting capacity as permission for every cut. We have not measured fence parallelism, tabletop flatness or the finish of a delivered saw.

Budget for a working station

A complete station budget includes infeed and outfeed support, dust connections, a suitable blade and transport space. Bosch GTS15-10 is another rolling comparison; DWE7485 offers a smaller format when its capacity fits. An apprentice may be better served by employer-provided cutting equipment. Upgrade because repeated work needs the station, rather than because a rolling package looks like a more complete professional kit.
