DWV010 is an eight-gallon extractor with automatic filter cleaning and a tool-actuated outlet. It is relevant to a carpenter assembling a compatible cutting or sanding station rather than buying a cleanup vacuum after the work. DeWalt lists two DWV9330 HEPA filters and an anti-static hose in the package. Verify those parts in the actual offer before relying on the configuration.
Connection and cleaning differences
The source overview quotes 155 CFM while its feature list quotes 150 CFM, so this guide does not resolve that inconsistency by selecting the larger number. Capacity and a HEPA filter label also do not establish compliance for every dust or work method. Check the exact tool connection, filter, bag and material-specific requirements; we have not measured collection efficiency or exposure levels.
Price the complete dust system
Budget for compatible connectors, replacement bags and filters, plus the electrical arrangement required by both machines. An apprentice should use the employer's specified dust-control system rather than choose a personal extractor by tank size alone. For occupied-space finishing, manageable transport and hose routing can matter more than a larger container. Bulk planer chips require a separately suitable collection plan, not an assumption based on fine-dust filtration.
