Where it fits in a carpenter kit
DeWalt DWX723 is a folding aluminum miter-saw stand with mounting brackets and repositionable stock supports. The manufacturer lists a 29-pound stand and a beam that extends to support suitable long material. That is a dedicated cutting-station role rather than a general assembly-table purchase. The miter saw is separate, and the stand's compatibility statement still requires the correct mounting arrangement for the particular machine.
Configuration and alternatives
An existing miter saw with inadequate work support may benefit more from this purchase than from upgrading the saw itself. Compare Bosch T4B if moving a mounted machine on wheels is the real problem; compare a bench when clamping small assemblies is the priority. Include the stand, mounting hardware and intended stock supports in the transport plan. Long material needs sufficient space and stable setup; a maximum supported length is not a promise for every loading arrangement.
Spend on a complete working setup
A complete station budget includes the work surface, supports, compatible mounting or clamping hardware and the space to use it. Buying one sawhorse is not the same as buying a usable table. An established carpenter may justify a rolling mounted-saw stand to reduce repeated transport work; an apprentice can start with suitable employer-provided support and only buy personal equipment where the responsibility is clear.
