Choose the collection workflow
CT 15 HEPA, article 578441, is the current compact cleaning-oriented Festool extractor checked here. It has a 15-liter container and included cleaning nozzles, making it relevant to workshop and occupied-space cleanup alongside suitable tool connections. Check the generation and article number: an older CT 15 photograph or listing may describe different supplied equipment and hose arrangements.
Connection and cleaning differences
The manufacturer lists adjustable suction and filter replacement from outside. This is not the same control package as CT MIDI I, and should not be sold as an automatic filter-cleaning machine. For sanding or sawing, verify the hose and port combination in the current instructions. Wet collection also needs the specified filter and setup rather than assuming the dry HEPA arrangement is ready for every liquid task.
Price the complete dust system
For a complete purchase, include the connections, bags and consumables that match your actual cleanup and tool use. Bluetooth automation or additional storage features may justify MIDI only when those functions are useful repeatedly. A compact container may suit carrying between rooms better than a larger station, but that is a workflow choice rather than our transport test. Follow the site dust-control requirements when materials call for a specialist method.
