It is not a basic requirement for an apprentice fitting trim. The RQ identity and supplied set should be distinguished from older DF 500 Q offers and the larger DF 700 system.
Model limits and alternatives
Festool documents a 28-millimeter maximum routing depth and tenon sizes within the DF 500 system. Those limits should match the joint design; catalog claims about strength are not structural design approval or our load testing. Reference faces, cutter choice and adhesive conditions affect the assembly. Biscuit alignment using PJ7000 serves a different joint method and should not be ranked by motor power alone.
When the specialist purchase pays its way
Price the actual set together with cutters, suitable tenons, clamps and the required extraction equipment. Do not assume every size of cutter or every connector kit accompanies the machine. For occasional joinery, consider whether an established method already covers the task.
