A six-gallon corded vac serves a different job

HD06001 is the reference purchase when a service route benefits from more nominal tank volume than the compact cordless choices. Its cost includes storage space and cord management. Check the exact hose and nozzles rather than comparing tank capacity alone.

Wet pickup needs its own setup

Read the model’s instructions for filters, shutoff and emptying before collecting liquid. The advertised tank size is not a promise of the same usable liquid volume. A cleanup vacuum is also a different tool from a transfer pump; it does not provide a continuous hose-to-hose dewatering workflow.

Choose portable cordless cleanup for local tasks

The Milwaukee formats can suit a small spill or fixture cleanup when an M18 battery is already available. Larger volumes require more emptying, and battery runtime is workload dependent. We have not measured pickup speed, noise or runtime; the comparison rests on power format, storage and package.
